Kurt Sorge wins Red Bull Rampage 2017 – Video

KURT SORGE HAS BECOME THE FIRST RIDER TO EVER WIN THREE RAMPAGE TITLES AS HE SCORED 92.66 IN THE UTAH DESERT.
His run went off the riders’ left ridge, over the Goblin drop and finished with a deep delve into his bag of tricks including a clutch of backflips.

Second place went to Cam Zink who landed the biggest ever flat drop backflip (a trick introduced in Semenuk’s winning run last year). His second run could well have been a winner but he crashed attempting a front flip on the final jump of the course. The local, Ethan Nell, grabbed third at just 20 years old.

With little wind and no bad injuries, it was easily the smoothest running and easiest to watch Rampage in years. However, it seems there will be further judging controversy this year as Antoine Bizet, a clear crowd favourite with a trick heavy run, not making the official top ten.
